The Gabba Ward Office will be closed from 19 December 2016 until 9 Jan 2017. During this period, if you have any local issues that need urgent attention please call the council’s 24-hour call centre on 3403 8888. Sewerage and water mains faults can be reported to Urban Utilities on 13 23 64 and power faults can be reported to Energex on 131 253.

We hope everyone gets to enjoy a little break over this period. We look forward to representing the residents of the Gabba Ward in 2017.

You can also phone our ward office on 3403 2165 or come in to see us in person (although I won’t necessarily be available for meetings without an appointment).

Our office address is 2/63 Annerley Road, Woolloongabba (entrance via Crown Street). There is limited free parking available behind the office complex (parking entrances via Crown Street and Gloucester Street). If travelling by public transport, you can use Translink to find the best way to reach us.

Because there’s currently so much concern around highrise development, homelessness, traffic congestion and parking, we receive a really high volume of queries from residents, so we might sometimes take a little while to get back to you, particularly if it’s a complex question. I’m also reasonably quick at responding to questions over Facebook or Twitter.
